We can CLONE ECU or Virginize (sets ecu to factory stock ready to adapt to car and write vin etc) replacement ECU you provide if your old ecu is damaged beyond repair like example = Water damaged-Fire damage-Melted down circuit board where eeprom is damaged and not able to pull data from it and you will need STAR or High-end Scan tool to adapt to car.
